Our scholarship provides tuition, books and much more to recipients at any of the seven Dallas College campuses.
Our mission is to encourage and empower people who have demonstrated tremendous courage and perseverance in the face of adversity by providing college scholarships, mentoring, access to counseling services, grants for continuing education and emergency needs, networking, life-skills, and life-long “family” relationships.

I can proudly say you have not only changed the life of so many people over the course of 20 years, but you have also created a family and an amazing community. Thank you so much for all you have done, and I am forever grateful.
You mentored me and helped sculpt me into the man I am today. You believed in me and allowed me to make everyone I care about proud of me for who I am. I never lost sight or my direction because you were there helping me stay on my path. I am a Firefighter/Paramedic because of you and will never forget that.
I know I said this, but I will keep on repeating it when I’m still breathing: Thank you. Appreciation is never enough for everything you have given me. I would like to say thank you to every single person who is an ETK board member, whom I have met and I have not yet, whom I knew of and I did not. You do not realize how magnificent that meant to me to be able to have this scholarship. You gave me a gift, a treasure, and a legacy.
I cannot express how grateful I am for all of you. I just wish there is a word or a sentence that could fully express how grateful and joyful I am to have the ETK family in my life. I love you all deeply! I always keep our ETK members in my prayers. Thank you so much.
When I applied for the ETK scholarship, I had no expectation to receive the award because I had very low self esteem. I started believing in myself when I saw ETK board believe in me and in my dreams. I really do consider myself lucky to be part of this family.
